Dr. Habeeb has extensive experience as a clinician and physician advisor at multiple hospitals, including tertiary-care facilities. Though dedicated physician advisor support has primarily been available only at larger hospitals, Acumen Health Solutions offers Dr. Habeeb's expertise to facilities of all sizes. Fawaz Habeeb, MD, CMPC
Dr. Habeeb has over 15 years of combined clinical and physician advisor experience. He has served at multiple types of hospitals including academic, community, VA, and more. Certified by APLCM in Care Management he has deep experience in medical necessity reviews, peer-to-peer discussions, CDI education, and throughput improvement. Practicing for years as a hospitalist and serving as physician advisor for two facilities has given him a unique perspective that allows him to drive hospital performance with innovative solutions.
